Sending Arrowhead a Case is Easy

How to Send a Case to Arrowhead

Getting started with Arrowhead Dental Lab has never been easier.

1. Send Directly from Your Intraoral Scanner

The easiest way to submit a case is directly from your intraoral scanner. This allows you to send both the digital files and Rx in one seamless step.

To connect your scanner to Arrowhead, follow the instructions below. If your scanner isn’t listed or you’re unsure how to proceed, give us a call at 1.800.800.7200 or continue to Step 2.

  1. Contact your iTero representative to and ask them to add Arrowhead to your scanner and
    provide them with the following information:

    • Name: Arrowhead Dental Laboratory
    • Lab ID: 2113
    • Email: connect@arrowheaddental.com
    • Phone: 1-800-800-7200
    • Address: 11170 South State Street, Sandy UT 84070
  2. Once added, restart your software and Arrowhead Dental Lab will appear in a drop down
    menu.
  3. Complete the lab form and in the Ship To filed select Arrowhead Dental Lab from the list of
    iTero labs.


Sirona will shut down the Connect Case Center on November 15, 2025 and replace it with DS Core.

  1. Create or login to your CEREC® Connect account.
  2. Log in.
  3. Search for Arrowhead as the Company Name. Check the box for Arrowhead and select
    ADD to complete registration.
  4. Whenever submitting your case via CEREC®, select Arrowhead from your list.

  1. Create or login to your DS Core account.
  2. Once logged in you can click this DS Core Invite Link, and it will prompt you to add Arrowhead as a preferred lab. If that doesn’t work, continue with the instructions below to connect to Arrowhead Dental Lab.
  3. On the main dashboard, navigate to the user profile menu at the top right of your screen.
  4. Click on Practice.
  5. You should now see your practice information and a menu header. Click on the Preferred
    Labs tab.
  6. On the right, click Add Preferred Lab tab and search for Arrowhead Dental Lab and then
    click the Add button on the right.
  7. A pop-up window will populate asking if you want to add the lab, select Add lab to confirm
    and close the window.
  8. Click on the top left arrow on your screen to view your preferred labs. You should now see
    the lab added to the list with a status of Active.
  9. When you are sending a case you should be able to select Arrowhead Dental Lab in the
    Service Provider field.

You should have created a 3Shape Communicate account when the scanner was installed. If
Arrowhead Dental Lab is not pre-installed on the list of available labs, please send a Connection
request to Arrowhead at connect@arrowheaddental.com prior to sending your first scan.

  1. Log in to your 3Shape account.
  2. Under “More” select “Settings”.
  3. In the menu, click “Connections” then “Labs” and “Add.
  4. Search “Arrowhead Dental Lab” and click “Connect” to send a request to connect.
  5. Once the connection request has been approved, please look for “Arrowhead Dental Lab”
    under your “Scan & Send” menu heading.

  1. Create or login to your Medit Link account.
  2. Under “Partner” search for Arrowhead by entering connect@arrowheaddental.com and
    request partnership.
  3. Once partnership is approved, you can select Arrowhead when completing the digital Rx.

  1. Log in to your Carestream Connect portal.
  2. In the toolbar, click the “Partners” icon.
  3. In the “Partners” window, click “Invite a partner”.
  4. In the Email field enter connect@arrowheaddental.com.
  5. Click “Send” and this will send a partnership request to Arrowhead.
  6. Once partnership is confirmed, you can select Arrowhead when filling out the digital Rx.

  1. Create or login to your Dexis IS Connect account.
  2. In the toolbar, click the “Partners” icon.
  3. In the Email field enter dexis-portal@arrowheaddental.com.
  4. Click “Send” and this will send a partnership request to Arrowhead.
  5. Once partnership is confirmed, you can select Arrowhead when filling out the digital Rx.

  1. Log in to your 3M Connection Center account that was created when your scanner was installed.
    If assistance is needed, contact 3M digital impression customer service at 877-722-6528.
  2. Verify that Arrowhead Dental Laboratory is available under the Scanner Laboratory menu. If not,
    contact 3M digital impression customer service (877-722-6528) and request to add Arrowhead’s
    profile to the scanner menu.

  1. Create or login to your Allied Star account.
  2. Click “Add Partner” and in the window that opens enter Arrowhead Dental Lab or connect@
    arrwoheaddental.com
    and click search.
  3. Select Arrowhead and click Apply. This will send a request to us and once approved you
    can start sending your cases.

Clinicians have the option of sending the STL file directly through the scan software. Arrowhead is
set up for the Digital Dental Exchange (DDX) portal. If Arrowhead Dental Lab doesn’t appear as an
option, you may need to create a new account.

Sending cases via the Digital Dental Exchange is a secure and reliable source of data transfer. To
learn more or sign up, go to http://ddxdental.com/practices.

Sending Via DDX

  1. After preparing to send files, click DDX Export in the Export 3D Models section of the Plan-
    CAD® module.
  2. In the open window, click Create A New Case.
  3. Login to DDX (if this is your first time).
  4. Select the preferred lab or use the find a lab option. (select ARROWHEAD)
  5. Click “Use Lab”.
  6. Complete the on-line lab script as defined by your lab.
  7. Click “Submit Case”.
  8. Enter any additional information about the case as needed and close the browser window.
  9. In the open window, select the file type to send to the lab, then click Add File(s).
  10. Wait for the upload to complete and the DDX cloud window to close.

New intraoral scanners are entering the market all the time. If you don’t see Arrowhead listed in your scanner’s directory, try searching by our email address: connect@arrowheaddental.com.

2. Upload Files via the Customer Portal

If you can’t submit directly from your scanner, you can still upload digital files and create cases through our Customer Portal.
